Then this idea came to my mind that will our lovely blog readers like to know some facts about how our ancient forefathers have guided us for constructing house? Yes you guessed it right. I am talking about VASTU.

                        Vastu is an architectural science which is popular not only in India but also in foreign countries due to its scientific features.
                                 So here we are sharing top vastu tips for those who want there home to be perfect.

• The first thing to keep in mind when laying the first brick of your house is to lay it in the east or north side of the plot.
• Northeast facing house are ideal. East and north are second and third best.
• Construct the very first room at the southwest direction.
• Always make even numbers of doors and windows.
• Staircase must always be built in the western or southern direction.
• The garage must be built in the south east or northwest side of the house
• Construct the master bedroom in the south. Dont keep any box bed in the master bedroom
• Other bedrooms can be constructed in the eastern or northern side. Never keep an aquarium in the bedroom as it influences ill health of residents.
• Best direction for dining room is west. Put the dining table in the northwest area of dining room. Dining table must nit be of irregular shape.
• Ideal direction for kitchen is southwestern corner. Make sure that kitchen door is not in any of the corners.
• Best direction of drawing room is where the house faces. You can keep indoor plants in drawing room to increase the positive vibe.
• Northwest is the best direction for guestroom. If this is not possible you can consider south or southeast.
• Pooja room should be in the north or northwest direction. Idols and photos of deities should be in the east.
• Study can be made in the north. Colour plays an important role in this room. You can use green colour as it aids concentration upliftment.
• For bathroom you can opt for eastern direction. Keep potted plants or fresh flowers in the bathroom. Overhead tanks must be in the south west corner.
• Septic tank must never be constructed in the south east southwest or north east.

Lastly we would like to advice you that never say vastu of my house is faulty. As vastu purusa ( god of vastu ) will hear this and say Tathastu ( let it be so ).
